Creating New Subwebs

This topic describes the procedure to create new subwebs.

When FrontPage extensions are available on the computer, you can create new subwebs. Subwebs must be created forwcpdevandcordysguest.

1. Click Start > Run and type inetmgr then press ENTER. The Internet Information Services window appears.
   
2. Navigate to <local computer name> > Web Sites > <Web site> .
   
3. Right-click <Web site> and click New > Server Extensions Web. The New Subweb wizard appears.
   
4. Type wcpdev in the Directory name and Title fields, and click Next. The Access Control section appears.
   
5. Select the Use the same administrator as parent web check box and click Next. A summary of the subweb is displayed.
   
6. Click Finish.
   
7. Right-click <Web site> and click New > Server Extensions Web. The New Subweb wizard appears.
   
8. Type cordysguest in the Directory name and Title fields, and click Next. The Access Control section appears.
   
9. Select the Use the same administrator as parent web check box and click Next. A summary of the subweb is displayed.
   
10. Click Finish.
    
    New subwebs are created.
